USB Disk Ejector

USB Disk Ejector is an excellent small freeware application that makes it a snap to safely disconnect USB drives from computers running Windows.

Windows has a built-in feature to do just that you say? Yes, it does, but unfortunately it's not very easy to use.  The Safely Remove Hardware feature included with Windows involves either right-clicking or finding the icon in the system tray devoted to the task just to launch.  Then you must descry which USB device is the one you want to disconnect.  Not good.  However, with USB Disk Ejector, it is easy to both launch the safely disconnect function and quickly identify the proper USB device to remove.  Disconnecting is as easy as either a double-click or a press of the enter key once you've highlighted the proper item.

Furthermore, USB Disk Ejector is small and runs portably, so you can take it with you on your USB drives.

So make sure to visit the developer's page and read more about this nice little app and check out the screen capture.   I wouldn't be surprised if you decide to download it and try it out.  And if you do, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
