Excel 2007 Change Default Number of Sheets in New Workbook

Here's how to modify the number of tabs that Excel 2007 includes in a new workbook:
  1. Click the Office button at the upper left.
  2. Click the Excel Options button.
  3. You should find yourself in the category Popular; if not, click on Popular in the left hand options column.
  4. Scroll down to When Creating New Workbooks and in the Include This Many Sheets box, change the number from the default 3 to what you want, e.g.,  1,  4, 10, etc.. Then click the OK button at the lower right.
