How to Make Google Contacts Birthdays Display on Google Calendar

If you use Google Contacts and fill out the birthday field, you might be wondering how you could take this one step further and have that information automatically show on your Google Calendar.  Fortunately, there is a built-in function for doing this and implementing it is easy.

First, enter birthday information in Google Contacts.  Then go to Google Calendar.  At left, under Other Calendars, click the down arrow and then select Browse Interesting Calendars.  On the next screen, select the More option.  Under that, you should see "Contacts' birthdays and events."  Click on the Subscribe link next to that and voila, your birthday info in Contacts will show on your Google Calendar.
